  • B.Sc. Nursing (Degree Course) * Intake: 40 Seats
    • Affiliation: Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow
  • GNM – General Nursing & Midwifery (Diploma Course)
    • Intake: 40 Seats
    • Affiliation: Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty (UPSMF), Lucknow

General Eligibility Criteria (As per U.P. State Norms)

For B.Sc. Nursing (4-Year Degree Course)

  • Academic Requirement: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology – PCB) and English Core/English Elective from a recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate of 45% in PCB is required (40% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Entrance Exam Mandate: Admissions are strictly based on the merit of the Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET) conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow.
  • Age Limit: The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

For GNM – General Nursing & Midwifery (3-Year Diploma)

  • Academic Requirement: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination from any recognized board.
  • Stream: While students from the Science stream (PCB) are preferred, candidates from other streams (Arts/Commerce) who meet the English and percentage criteria are also eligible as per state guidelines.
  • Selection: Admissions are conducted as per the merit guidelines and centralized processes laid down by the Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty (UPSMF), Lucknow.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years and maximum 35 years as of 31st December of the admission year.

The Admission Process

We strive to make your enrollment as seamless as possible while strictly adhering to U.P. state government and university regulations:

  1. Enquiry & Counseling: Reach out to our admissions desk via phone or visit our campus in Mau. Our team will guide you through the latest CNET (ABVMU) and UPSMF application dates and requirements.
  2. Entrance Exam / State Merit Application: * For B.Sc. Nursing: Students must apply for, appear in, and qualify the ABVMU CNET.
    • For GNM: Students must participate in the UPSMF state merit application process.
  3. Counseling & College Selection: During the centralized state counseling process, candidates must select Sai Institute of Nursing, Mau as their preferred college.
  4. Document Verification & Enrollment: Once allotted a seat at our institute through state counseling, candidates must report to the campus for final document verification, fee submission, and enrollment confirmation.
